Biotech Atelier 2.0




Biotech Atelier 2.0 – an event, focused on the future of biotechnologies, will bring together remarkable international business and science experts.

In partnership with the event's organizers, BASSCOM would like to invite you to become part of this year's edition. The invitation motive, and leading message of the initiative, is the importance of the collaboration between IT and biotechnological organizations.

Some of the topics that will be discussed are: Artificial Intelligence in biotechnology and pharmaceutics, Big Data from the medical practice (RWE / RWD), innovative models for projects financing in the field, advanced treatment technologies, opportunities for regional partnerships, biomarkers and biobanking, clinical trials and many, many more. Each of them will be organized in the form of a discussion between the on-stage guests and the audience.

The purpose of the initiative is to give strong push to the Bulgarian biotechnology ecosystem, in which potential the organizers are fully convinced.

The participants in the Atelier will have the opportunity to meet rare speakers in one place, and to create unique business contacts and partnerships.

In 2018, the first Biotech Atelier brought together 220+ participants, 30 speakers from 15 countries and representatives of 82 companies. The discussions were on 13 different topics. This year the lecturers are over 40, the visitors - over 300, and the topics 20.

The event will be held on 25.09.2019 at the “John Atanasov Innovation Forum” in Sofia Tech Park.

In addition, a pre-event focused "Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology Transfer (TT)", will be held on 24.09.2019 (https://biotech-atelier.com/iptt/).
