SAH Project Newsletter: Digital Innovation Hubs: At the heart of SmartAgriHubs

Let's celebrate this 9th edition of the SAH newsletter as a zoom-in for your Digital Innovation Hubs community! You might have noticed that in March 2021 we finished covering the 28 Flagship Innovation Experiments of the project in our Magnitude section. This was the appropriate moment to delve into the essence of our project, namely the Digital Innovation Hubs.
We are constantly building our ecosystem of Digital Innovation Hubs: some DIHs are new while others are old, some are very active and others start to build their capacity, some DIHs are very well connected to the European level and others only focusing on their region. So why not making this newsletter all about DIHs: who they are, what they do, what can they tell us about their own experience?

For this 9th edition of the SmartAgriHubs newsletter, we invited Dr Heidi Cigan to write the Editorial on the EU strategy for the European Digital Innovation Hubs and how the DIHs will fit in this larger framework. We also invited 3 mature DIHs in our Taking Stock section - AgroPoland, SmartAgri and Andalucia AgroTech - to tell us more about their project: how it started, what are their main activities and how SAH is supporting them. We also added new features in the newsletter - in the Get To Know section, and on the Innovation Portal - learn more in the section What's New!

And last but not least, with the Magnitude section, we decide to put in the spotlight new DIHs or DIHs that would like to have a more active part in our project. This time we present you: Rural Industry Digital Innovation Hub, Digital Innovation Value Accelerator and Innovacoop. Stay in touch with your Regional Cluster if you would like to feature in future SAH newsletters, they will let you know when there is an opportunity for you!

We hope you will enjoy the read and don't forget to register on the LXP platform (for DIHs only!) and to take the survey for our Gender Task Force!
